Journalism & Truth

This is a hypothetic campaign designed for Public Integrity. The campaign starts with an infographic that demonstrates the problem/issue. From that point, it develops into a poster, event sculpture, and a takeaway brochure as a complete campaign.

The main topic is the U.S. polarization that is caused by the news/media bias. The media bias creates multiple voices that draw the citizens away from the truth. When the fourth right is no longer the watchdog of the government but the tools to mislead its people, it is time to re-examine what is Journalism and its value to our society.

Starting out by researching the issue and the impact it has to the society. To help people understand the issue, I choose to use a infographic to present the story. The infographic not only simplify the wordy context but also added interaction to the viewer. At the same time, I also included the sources and evidence to shows these source are from the legit organization.

The ideas for the poster is extract from the information from the infographic. My focus here is the polarization which eventually lead the extremism.
